A four-time recipient of the CEO Dallas 100 award, Bob founded Campbell Travel and has continued to guide it through over thirty years of innovation in an ever-changing marketplace. Since graduating from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas in Austin many moons ago, Bob has served  in a variety of Leadership capacities including Boy Scouts, the Gladney Adoption Agency, and the Methodist Church.

Bob’s love for travel extends beyond the business aspect to the personal side of travel, always adventuring to new places and seeking new experiences. Favorite destinations include cycling in Provence; hiking to Machu Picchu; relaxing on a cruise in the Mediterranean; and most recently, exploring Cuba. When he’s not in the office, Bob enjoys spending time with his wife, Tina, in Fredericksburg, playing with his “bird-dog” Pepper, sporadically  playing tennis, hiking, cycling, or just hanging out with good friends.

Bill graduated from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University in 1991 and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a pilot, commanding worldwide missions in the C-5 Galaxy. Bringing those skills to his civilian life, Bill is responsible for the day to day oversight and execution of the Campbell brands. He is particularly focused on trends in technology, and how the Campbell Travel brands can leverage new technologies to better serve clients and create an exciting place to work. He has three sons, and loves nothing more than attending their hockey games and cheering them to victory.

Ashley Andries

Vice President of Operations

Ashley has 17 years of experience in the travel industry and is responsible for the day to day operations of the company. Ashley oversees the corporate agent team, customer solutions department, and works closely with the account development and product support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and client retention. Her responsibilities also include phone administrator for the VOIP telephony system for Campbell HQ and satellite offices. Before joining Campbell in March of 2006, Ashley spent 6 years working for a leading travel technology company and 5 years with a mega agency working in various roles on a fortune 100 account. As a favorite pastime, Ashley enjoys seeking out new food experiences whether it be checking out a new restaurant or getting creative in her own kitchen. She loves tennis, golf and spending time with her family. Ashley resides in McKinney, Texas.

Director of Account Management

Paty has been with Campbell for over five years, serving numerous roles within the organization, including Hotel Negotiations Support, Customer Service Advisor and Account Management. She has gained valuable travel industry knowledge during her years here at Campbell and prides herself in delivering the exceptional support to all of her clients.  Her areas of expertise include client implementations, travel tool trainings, data management, and the overall success of all travel managed programs.   Her unique background in Operations Management and Customer Service Management complement the Campbell Account Management team very well. Paty was born and raised in Texas and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at El Paso.

Tina Norton

Director of Account Development

Tina discovered a love of travel at an early age, spending time in the United Kingdom as part of a military family. She started in the travel industry in the 1990’s, starting as a travel agent and moving into the software side of travel with an online booking tool. This evolved into work in data and reporting, and ultimately into account management. She’s worked with Travelocity Business and BCD before bringing her talents to Campbell Travel. She enjoys continual learning about the changing industry. In her spare time she loves to travel (of course), volunteer at local events, and is preparing herself for life as an empty nester as she sends her son off to college next year.

James Merkle's picture

James Merkle

Director, Corporate Business Development

James has spent more than 6 years in sales, with over half of that in the travel industry. With a Captain for American Airlines as a father, he was predestined for a career in travel. At Campbell Travel he serves as Director of Corporate Business Development for the TravelSolutions brand, and is responsible for all new corporate business. James was born and raised in Los Angeles, and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communication at Arizona State University. James loves playing golf and tennis, and spends as much time as he can with Charlie, his Jack Russell Terrier.
